Digital transformation and smart construction approach has increasing being utilized in the construction industry. Being a specialist in the facade industry, the Group has embarked into realizing the building output digitally through the application of some technology approaches. Utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, other various 3-D modeling and animation tools to construct the facade virtually in digital format, this approach enable the project team to have better understanding and anticipate expected final product of the facade design and systems long before it is being constructed.

At the same time, this process helps to identify interfacing issues and eliminate abortive design activities and misunderstanding among the project team. In the pre-construction estimation stage, in the absence of the client/consultant’s BIM model, the in-house developed BIM model is used to provide quantity take-off which provided the estimators a better accuracy in constructing their cost structure.
